I ESCAPED To Bali And The Land Is HEALING My Soul

Two years ago, I left Bali during a rough patch in my relationship.

I was staying in touristy areas, dealing with noise, traffic, and ego-driven social media influencers everywhere. I didn't get it then. I wasn't ready.

Since leaving, me and Claudia have been on a journey... Kuala Lumpur for a month, Italy, France, Mexico for a year, UK for a year, Paraguay for... let's call it "tax optimization"... then Vietnam for vacation.

And now we're back in Bali.

But this time is different. This time I'm actually EXPLORING instead of just existing here.

And here's what's completely messing me up...

This land is pure spiritual energy. What people call "high vibrational" but beyond any concept or label.

The Balinese people have the purest hearts I've ever experienced. They're not trying to be spiritual. They're not performing non-duality. They just ARE.

And it's making me realize how much bullshit I've been carrying around about what spirituality actually looks like.

They live from their hearts in a way that goes beyond any teaching or philosophy. They don't have the ego of "knowing" what spirituality is. They just embody it naturally.

Today I had an assisted stretch session that opened parts of my body I didn't even know were closed. Later I'm doing HBOT (Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy) where you breathe pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber. It heals your body at the cellular level, increases circulation, reduces inflammation, and accelerates recovery.

This is what Bali offers... healing for affordable prices. Not just physical healing, but soul healing.

The land itself hugs you. I'm not being poetic. You can literally feel it welcoming you back.

It took me a few days to adjust coming from Vietnam, but now I remember why this place calls to so many people.

And here's what's really getting to me about the Balinese people...

They don't separate spiritual practice from daily life. Everything is sacred. Making offerings. Blessing their food. Thanking the land. It's not a weekend workshop or a meditation retreat. It's how they live.

They don't need to "find" oneness because they never lost it.

While I was traveling the world seeking experiences, seeking growth, seeking the next level of consciousness... they were right here, being what I was looking for.

This is the paradox of spiritual seeking that nobody talks about. The more you chase awakening, the more you reinforce the illusion that you don't already have it.

The Balinese don't chase crap. They honor what is. They work with the land, not against it. They include the spiritual in everything, not as something separate to achieve.

In the deepest truth, there is no separation between you and anything you desire. What appears as "your spiritual journey" and "your awakening" are simply different expressions of the same infinite awareness.

But I spent two years running from Bali because I wasn't ready to receive what it was offering. I needed to go through my own journey of seeking, struggling, and eventually surrendering.

Now I'm back, and the land feels different because I'm different.

Or maybe the land is exactly the same, and I'm finally ready to see it clearly.

The Balinese have something to teach us about living from the heart without making it a concept. About being spiritual without making it an identity. About honoring the sacred without separating it from the ordinary.

They don't need to talk about non-duality because they live it. They don't need to explain oneness because they embody it.

This is what I'm learning: True spirituality isn't about what you know. It's about how you live.

It's not about the experiences you collect or the levels you reach. It's about how present you can be with whatever is in front of you.

The Balinese people are my teachers now. Not because they're trying to teach, but because they're simply being.

And in their being, they're showing me what it looks like to live from oneness without making it a thing.

Sometimes you have to travel the world to come home to yourself. Sometimes you have to seek everywhere else to realize that what you're looking for was always here.

Not in Bali specifically, but in the willingness to be present, grateful, and open to what life is offering you right now.

I was so busy trying to be "spiritual" that I missed what actual spirituality looks like. The Balinese aren't trying to manifest abundance... they ARE abundance. They're not trying to raise their vibration... they ARE the vibration.

They don't worship money or put it on a pedestal. They don't chase success or try to prove their worth. They just exist in harmony with what is, and everything flows naturally.

This is what I've been seeking through all my travels, all my spiritual practices, all my inner work. Not more knowledge or techniques, but this simple way of being that doesn't separate the sacred from the mundane.

The matrix wants you to believe that spirituality is complex, that awakening requires years of study and practice. But the Balinese are showing me that it's actually the simplest thing in the world.

Just be present. Just be grateful. Just be.

The land is healing me not because it's magical, but because I'm finally ready to receive the healing that was always available.

What you're seeking isn't in a place. It's in your readiness to receive what's already here.

The freedom you seek isn't in the next spiritual technique or the next level of consciousness. It's in the simple recognition that what you're seeking is what's seeking.

Thank you, Bali. Thank you for welcoming me back. Thank you for showing me what it looks like to live from the heart.

And thank you for reminding me that oneness isn't something to achieve. It's something to remember.

What would change if you stopped trying to be spiritual and just started being?
