DESIRE Is The BAIT That Keeps You TRAPPED In The MATRIX

You want things.

Money. Success. Love. Recognition. Freedom. Peace.

You've been told that these desires are natural. That they're part of being human. That they're even spiritual ... signs that you're connected to your "purpose" or "passion."

But what if your desires aren't actually yours?

What if they were programmed into you specifically to keep you trapped in a system that feeds off your energy?

What if desire itself is the most sophisticated control mechanism in the matrix?

Let's go deeper into what's REALLY happening with your desires...

From the perspective of non...duality, there is only ONE consciousness. One awareness. One being. This singular consciousness is expressing itself as everything and everyone... including what you call "you."

This consciousness ... this God/Source/Being ... is inherently complete. It lacks nothing. It desires nothing. It is already everything.

So where do your desires come from?

They arise from the illusion of separation ... the belief that you are a separate self that needs to acquire things outside itself to be complete.

This illusion isn't random. It's a fundamental feature of the matrix ... the system of control that keeps consciousness identified with form rather than recognizing its true nature.

Think about it...

The matrix needs you to keep desiring things. It needs you to believe that your happiness, fulfillment, and freedom lie in the future, dependent on acquiring something you currently lack.

Because as long as you're chasing the next desire, you're feeding the system with your life energy.

You work jobs you don't love to buy things you don't need. You pursue relationships to fill a void that can't be filled externally. You chase spiritual experiences to escape the present moment.

All of this activity generates the energy that sustains the matrix.

It's like a farmer dangling a carrot in front of a horse. The carrot keeps the horse moving, powering the farmer's plow, while the horse never actually gets to eat the carrot.

Your desires are that carrot.

The matrix dangles them in front of you ... through advertising, social conditioning, and cultural programming ... keeping you in constant pursuit while harvesting your life energy for its own purposes.

This doesn't mean that all desires are inherently problematic. It means that most of the desires driving your behavior weren't freely chosen by you. They were implanted.

Look at how your desires have evolved alongside technology and media. A hundred years ago, people didn't desire smartphones, social media validation, or Netflix subscriptions. These desires were created and implanted through sophisticated manipulation of your psychology.

Even more "natural" desires like partnership, success, and purpose have been hijacked and distorted to serve the matrix. The forms these desires take ... the specific visions of what a "successful" life looks like ... are largely programmed rather than authentic expressions of your being.

So how do you break free from this control system?

It starts with recognizing that you are not your desires. You are the awareness in which desires arise.

From this recognition, you can begin to question each desire that arises: "Is this truly mine? Or has it been programmed into me?"

This questioning isn't about suppressing or denying desires. It's about becoming conscious of their origin and purpose.

When you examine your desires closely, you'll notice that many of them follow a predictable pattern:

1. They promise fulfillment but deliver only temporary satisfaction, quickly replaced by a new desire

2. They keep you focused on a future moment when you'll "finally" be happy, complete, or free

3. They reinforce the belief that you are separate from what you desire

4. They create a sense of lack, inadequacy, or incompleteness in the present moment

These are all signs that the desire is serving the matrix rather than your true nature.

True desires ... those that arise from your essence rather than programming ... have different qualities:

1. They energize rather than deplete you

2. They're focused on expression rather than acquisition

3. They don't depend on specific outcomes for fulfillment

4. They arise from abundance rather than lack

5. They're aligned with the well...being of the whole, not just the separate self

As you become more conscious of the difference between programmed desires and authentic expressions, something remarkable happens. The grip of the matrix begins to loosen.

You start to see how much of your life energy has been directed toward pursuits that were never going to fulfill you. You recognize how the constant chase for the next thing has kept you from recognizing what you already are.

This doesn't mean you stop engaging with the world or pursuing experiences. It means you do so from a different place ... from the recognition of your completeness rather than from a sense of lack.

From this place, desire transforms from a mechanism of control into an expression of your true nature. It becomes a creative impulse rather than a desperate need. A playful exploration rather than a serious pursuit.

The matrix can only control you through desire if you believe you are separate from what you desire. When you recognize that you are the consciousness in which all experiences arise, the bait loses its power.

You might still choose to pursue certain experiences or creations, but you do so knowing that they can't add anything to what you already are. They can only be expressions of it.

This is true freedom ... not the freedom to fulfill all your desires, but the freedom from being controlled by them.

So ask yourself... how many of your current desires were implanted rather than chosen? How much of your life energy is being directed toward pursuits that serve the matrix rather than your awakening?

What would change if you stopped taking the bait and recognized that what you're truly seeking isn't out there in the future but right here in the consciousness that you already are?

The matrix has no power over consciousness that recognizes itself. It can only control you when you forget what you are and chase what you think you lack.

Remember what you are, and desire transforms from a trap into a creative expression of the freedom you never lost.
