Look, if you're an empath who absorbs other people's energy, this might help you...

Being an empath can be annoying and sometimes overwhelming. Imagine walking into a room and feeling drained of negative energy as time passes by...

You know what it's like, right?

I'd just take on people's crap as if it was my own, pretending to be a good person. Meanwhile, I'm feeling uncomfortable and just want to escape this nonsense and be comfy in a quiet room, Himalayan salt lamp, a tea, and YouTube videos and conspiracy theories...

But being an empath isn't the problem. It's actually a superpower when you understand what's really happening.

Here's the truth: You absorb others' energy because you haven't fully awakened your inner authority.

Here's what I mean...

Most empaths developed their sensitivity as a survival mechanism. As a kid, you probably had to tune into the energy of narcissistic, inconsistent parents, worried about your parents' well-being, or your parents had conversations with you about their problems. You got so good at feeling what others feel that you forgot where they end and you begin.

And here's where it gets interesting... This childhood pattern doesn't just disappear when you grow up. It becomes your default way of interacting with the world. You're constantly scanning environments, reading people, absorbing emotions that aren't yours.

This is exactly how your ego keeps you disempowered. Your ego is protecting you from seeing YOU... from seeing your power, from awakening your inner authority. Because once you awaken that inner authority, the ego no longer has power over you. So it keeps you focused on everyone else's energy instead of your own.

The breakthrough comes when you realize there's a spectrum:

• On one end is narcissism (me, me, me)

• On the other end is empathy (you, you, you)

Both extremes are out of balance. The narcissist is unhealthily self-focused, while the empath is unhealthily other-focused.

True sovereignty lies in the middle - where you're firmly grounded in your own energy while still able to connect with others without losing yourself.

Here's a practice that worked for me:

When you meditate, simply claim your energy. Claim YOU. Recognize that it's okay to take up space in this world. Feel the boundary of your energy field. Feel yourself in your body. Say to yourself, "This is me. This is my energy. I am sovereign in my own space."

This simple practice helps you create energetic sovereignty - the ability to be in your own energy while still connecting with others.

The most counterintuitive truth is this: When you're fully present in your own energy, you actually become more magnetic. People are drawn to you rather than draining you.

I've watched empaths transform their lives with this practice:

• Setting boundaries without guilt

• Saying "no" to energy vampires

• Creating from their unique gifts instead of people-pleasing

• Manifesting abundance by valuing their own energy first

The EGO wants you believing that your sensitivity makes you weak. But when you awaken your inner authority, your empathic gifts become your greatest strength.

What if your sensitivity isn't a curse but the key to your sovereignty?

What if by learning to be in your own energy, you could help others without absorbing their pain?

What if your empathic nature is actually your pathway to breaking free from the matrix?

Don't dim your light. Don't shut down your sensitivity. Instead, awaken to the authority that's always been within you - the power to be sovereign in your own energy while still connecting deeply with others.

This is true liberation for the empath.
